“I look back on my wedding photos at least three times a week! I love looking back on the photos with my now husband and being able to talk about what we were feeling during that moment. Allison did a wonderful job capturing our entire ceremony and those are the pictures I love to look back on.
This is my favorite photo because it was during our wedding ceremony. In the photo is my mother’s veil that meant so much to me, the hanky my husband chose for the wedding day and in this moment he was wiping away tears of joy from my face.

“When I look back at my photos I think about what a special and magical day it was. I look at them every day. They are on my desk at work and hanging all over our home.
I love the first look that is a close up angle and we’re holding hands but backed apart from one another and just looking at each other. I love the second close up of me where Brett is nestled right in by my face. I love the one where we walked out of the church and have our hands out in excitement and Brett is leaned to the left with me. I love ALL at the lake but particularly the one where I’m dipped backwards and he’s kissing me with my bouquet hanging down to the ground with trees above and light coming through, it is portrait. Also there is a landscape on where we are out in the field and I have the stems of my bouquet on my hip and we’re both looking at one another in front of the lake. I love the one where I’m jumping in his arms. From the reception I love the one where we are bowing to one another before we start our dance.
I know that is a bunch but you just take too great of pictures Mrs. Allison!! If you weren’t that great I wouldn’t be in love with so many pictures and they wouldn’t stick in my mind like they do. Clearly I can tell you all my favorites without even looking because they are too beautiful to forget!
We have all different pictures around our house. We have pictures that take your breath away because they capture the passion and love of that day and others that make us laugh about silly wonderful memories. As I look at my pictures I get a visual reminder of the day my best friend and I made the most committed and precious decision.
Allison impressed me the moment my husband and I met her. We had met with lots of photographers all of which were lovely people, but Allison comes prepared and let’s her photographs speak for her. With that being said it isn’t that she couldn’t speak for herself. Allison approaches her clients as a friend yet she remains incredible professional. She wants to know your story and how you and your fiancé met and why you are getting married.
Throughout my time working with Allison she had a wonderful calming effect on her clients and works with their schedules to the best of her ability. My wedding dress came in six weeks before the wedding and was the wrong dress. I was promised a new dress three weeks before the wedding. When I spoke with Allison about the dress issue and pushing the portraits back she assured me that she would do whatever it takes to ensure I had portraits at the wedding reception. She was so encouraging and helped lessen the stress of what was a very stressful experience.

I will never forget the day after the wedding, my dad saying “That was an amazing photographer you had! She was on the floor capturing pictures! I loved her!”And then when we saw the pictures, my breath was taken away! I couldn’t stop crying at how you had captured every single second of the wedding. And lots of things that I didn’t even notice or see! Because of her, we have been able to and will be able to relive our wedding over and over for the rest of our lives! My favorite image changes all the time because there are so many simply gorgeous photos, but from our engagement photos, our favorite is one where we were kissing in the middle of the street with buildings from downtown dallas blurred in the background. The sun was setting and we are surrounded with this gorgeous golden light. Allison photographed us in a way that perfectly captured the moment and our love. Our wedding photos were no different. “I look back at my “day after” photos quite often. My favorite image from our “day after” photo shoot is the picture of my husband and I sitting next to each other on a concrete ledge. I love it for its honest, simple elegance. First of all, it looks like us, it reflects how natural and happy we feel together. The cement and the diagonal line of the shadow in the background create a sleek modern, yet elegant feel. We have this image framed in our bedroom and I smile every time I see it. My husband are not exactly the posing type and we were not sure how the shoot would go as we stepped out into the 95 degree Texas heat dressed in our wedding best the day of our shoot. “I look at my pictures all the time! I especially love my engagement pictures, because Craig and I don’t take very many pictures on our own, so it’s really nice to have some good pictures of us. Craig was a little uncertain about taking pictures at first, but Allison was able to put him at ease, and we had a great time. Allison did a really great job of coming up with different poses/ideas, and so we have a really wide variety of pictures, which is great. Craig and I both have very busy schedules, and sometimes it’s hard to find time to just relax and be together. She has this real joy and enthusiasm for her work, and it’s impossible to not get wrapped up in her excitement. She is very warm and easy to talk to, and she has a way of calming your nerves and making you feel at ease during what can be a very hectic time. It’s difficult to explain, but you just know that everything will be perfect because she is there. Photography was at the top of my list. When all is said and done, pictures are the one thing from your wedding day that will last forever. You can spend all the money in the world on fancy decorations, and cake, etc, but without good pictures, the memories will slowly fade away. That’s why for me, it was really important to invest in a great photographer. I majored in photography in college, so I felt like I had a pretty decent eye for good work when I started looking for somebody for the wedding. I’m just reminded of how much happiness and love surrounded our wedding. There are a lot of different pieces of wedding planning, and some of them can be tedious or frustrating, but we just had a lot of fun with everything surrounding our photography.
Allison was lovely to work with. She was in touch soon after I emailed her, and she took time to listen to what was important to me and what my concerns were.
