Welcome to Part 3 at Amanda & John’s Wedding at The Tribute Golf Club in The Colony. Amanda did an amazing job coordinating all of her details for her wedding day. I loved her color palette of teal (turquoise) and red (cranberry). You can read about all of her wedding inspiration at her Project Wedding Profile. It was such a great wedding color selection for her November wedding. So enjoy all of her sweet details and her fun-filled reception photos. They had their guests write messages on rocks in the center of their table. I love the flowing drapery in the Banquet Hall at The Tribute Golf Club. Amanda & John walked hand-in-hand and visited with all of their guests at the beginning of their reception. First Dance and all party music provided by Groovy Sounds Production. The toast time during Amanda & John’s Reception was a really sweet time. I enjoyed all of the stories and the well-wishes. One of John’s cousins gave the funniest toast because he shared the story of how Amanda & John met at American Eagle back in high school. Amanda was working there at the time. And John’s cousin was actually trying to get Amanda’s number, but at the end, John went up and got her number and beat out his cousin for it. Such an awesome story!
John is the youngest of 10 — so this was the fun way that Amanda was initiated into the family.Thanks so much for choosing me for your wedding photography! I had such a wonderful time photographing your wedding at the Tribute Golf Club. It was such a beautiful day!

Welcome to Amanda & John’s Wedding at The Tribute Golf Club in The Colony {Part 2}. If you missed Part 1, then scroll down and you’ll see it all.

Here I’m featuring their fabulous ceremony (conducted by one of John’s Brother) and their fabulous (and I really do mean FABULOUS) couple portraits. It’s amazing what I can do when my clients allow me a little bit of time to work it! So keep scrolling. I’d totally love to hear what you think—so drop me a comment at the end of the post. It would make me smile. Who doesn’t love a “high-five?!?!” All of the bridesmaids and groomsmen finished their exit with up top high fives. So fun!Frame No. 1 from the couple portrait time. Gotta get that “8×10 mom shot” covered — but I still love it. They are both just so happy and in love! My favorite!Amanda was super easy-going and she only had a handful of requests, but one photo on her “must-have” list was a photo of her teal shoes and his teal socks. Meet Amanda & John. I’ll share the fun story of how they met during the reception post.

They were married the Friday after Thanksgiving at the fabulous Tribute Golf Course in The Colony. I have 3 blog posts to share from their wedding because it was so fantastic! Amanda did an amazing job planning and had millions of great details, but honestly, she was such a sweetheart I had a blast photographing her on her wedding day.

The Tribute has amazing spaces for brides and grooms to get ready. They both had huge private suites to do their hair, make-up and to get dressed. I loved the set up for weddings at The Tribute.

How awesome is this sweet little belt for her wedding dress! I love it! Amanda ordered it here on Etsy. Yay!!! She’s so excited to be in her wedding dress! I love it! I LOVE this photo of Amanda. She totally exemplifies my ideal bridal client: happy, beautiful and classic.Also love it with the bling!I typically don’t post group photos, but I loved all of Amanda’s bridesmaids dresses and the color! Oh, the color is amazing!The guy! Love the shadows and the big Texas sky.This was one of our group shots after the ceremony. Love the sun peaking through. Come back tomorrow for part 2!
