Becky & Lucas met while at the workplace. These two have a beautifully, bubbly relationship. They love traveling together, hosting parties and celebrating life together.
We photographed their engagement portraits at Arlington Hall, Lee Park and out in the countryside of North Dallas. Their wedding coordinator Meredith Commender of Significant Events of Texas helped coordinate a little fireworks display for their engagement portraits. I loved photographing their laughter and affection and sharing fun stories throughout our travel for their engagement portrait session.
For her bridal portraits, Becky chose The Four Seasons Resort and the SMU campus for her locations. The Four Seasons has beautiful ballrooms and decor for elegant, romantic and dramatic bridal portraits. Being an SMU graduate, Becky wanted to have her bridal portraits photographed on the campus lawn and near Dallas Hall. Her bridal style was completed by the talented Angie Williams of AW Wedding Hair.
Their wedding ceremony took place at the beautiful Highland Park United Methodist Church and then had their wedding reception at the Park City Club in Highland Park overlooking the beautiful Dallas skyline. They brought in an elegant travel-theme to their wedding reception with cute postcard table numbers, gate passes for their guests table assignments and a fabulous airplane grooms cake created by Panini Bakery. Fete des Fleurs created lovely and elegant floral arrangements and tablescapes for the wedding receptions. I-Entertainment provided an amazing mix of music to create an elegant dinner atmosphere followed by a great dance party. The couple made their grand exit while their guests sent them off with custom-created paper airplanes as they left in a Rolls Royce provided by Citi Sedan & Blue Diamond Limo.
