Meet Lauren and Jimmy! They both serve in the U.S. Army and are stationed at different locations right now. They had a small wedding ceremony at her mom’s residence in Arlington but the big thing for Lauren was having great portraits of her and her husband Jimmy. They scouted for a location near her mom’s home and found this beautiful nature preserve in Arlington. It was the most amazingly beautiful day for a wedding and we had a great time photographing them in this little forest.

Ginnie + Brad: Sonoma Valley, CA, Destination Wedding Day After Session

The cherry on top of the icing for Ginnie & Brad’s wedding was their Day After Portrait session! The brave bride and groom woke up early the next morning for our session around the countryside in Sonoma Valley. We met at the town square and drove throughout the windy roads and found some sweet spots for their bride and groom Day After portrait session. I honestly couldn’t have planned a better mix of spots than what we stumbled upon that morning. I loved the rolling hills and the old truck we found. I hope you love these bride and groom portraits from my very first Destination wedding in Sonoma Valley, California.

Sarah Beth + Chris: Bride & Groom Portraits in Las Vegas

Sarah Beth & Chris were married in Las Vegas in a Hot Air Balloon last weekend. I was just so eager to share their wedding photos because I loved them so much and their wedding was so fun and unique. Their ceremony was early in the morning, since we wanted to photograph them for their portraits on the Las Vegas Strip at night we took a break in the middle of the day and met up later that afternoon for their bride and groom portraits. We photographed them inside the casino at the Stratosphere Hotel, in front of the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino, the Famous Bellagio fountains, the Famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign and then just along the strip. Andrea and I could have photographed them for hours, but we tried to stay focused and narrowed down our locations to the ones above. We had such an amazing time! I loved the lights in Las Vegas—there were so many great opportunities for portraits in such a fun and lively place. By AndreaBy AndreaThis last one was one Sarah Beth photographed for us! yay!!
