Kelly & Clay:
Wedding at the Fort Worth Japanese Gardens
{Dallas Wedding Photographer}

Kelly & Clay were married in September at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens Japanese Gardens. They had their first date at the Japanese Gardens — so it was a special place for them to celebrate their wedding. Kelly did an amazing job along with her coordinator Courtney of Courtney Adams Designs creating a beautiful and fun wedding celebration. I loved all of the details from their wedding day from the mustache table numbers to the fish food for the kids to play at the koi ponds. They had a very sweet ceremony and I loved how they incorporated Clay’s son Henry in the ceremony when Kelly presented him with a key to her heart as she asked to be his stepmom. Kelly & Clay also wrote each letters chronicling their relationship up to the wedding and every year they’re going to write a new letter about the year together and put it in their special wine box to read the following year. My last moment I want to mention is that Clay requested “The Power of Love” by Huey Lewis and it was so fun to watch them dance together to that fabulous 80s song! I hope you enjoy viewing their wedding photographs. I just love the beautiful Japanese Gardens for weddings and I think Kelly & Clay are pretty darn awesome too — Yay for love!
{Special shout out to my husband Aaron for shooting this wedding with me — it was lots of fun to shoot together and he got some great shots, some of which are blogged below}
