Meet Sarah & Josh. They’re getting married in September at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano. Josh is an intern at Prestonwood and Sarah works for an inner city ministry called BridgeBuilders. They met at Prestonwood at one of the Saturday night services. When we met to talk about their wedding photography, I was so surprised Sarah & I had not met yet because we had so many mutual friends. She is such a sweet and caring person and it was easy to see how romance sparked quickly between them. Sarah and I had a wonderful time planning their styled engagement session. She loves reading wedding blogs like Green Wedding Shoes and Style Me Pretty. So we planned their engagement session with the help of some fabulous vendors and some great props. AH Makeup Artistry & Posh Floral Design teamed up with me to make Sarah’s engagement session even better with their amazing talents. Amanda of AH Makeup Artistry does beautiful make up design based on the look you’re wanting for your portrait or wedding day make up. Angie of Posh Floral Design creates beautiful and unique floral arrangements and works with other wedding decor to help you style your wedding day or other celebration. Sarah found props at Anthropologie, Pottery Barn and Etsy.
We started their session with a sunrise picnic in a wild field. Then I photographed them baking sugar cookies in Sarah’s kitchen. Lastly we traveled to the Farmer’s Market in downtown Dallas for the last stop on their engagement portrait session.
It’s been so much fun to be a part of their engagement session portraits and I look forward to their wedding day in September.
