We photographed her bridal portrait session at Lakeside Park in Highland Park. I love the green trees and this fabulous bridge (see below). It’s a lovely location for portraits. Kate is a beautiful young lady and I was so blessed to celebrate her wedding on Saturday. Enjoy these bridal portraits.

[...] Kate & Jon were married July 24, 2010, at Watermark Community Church in Dallas followed by a reception at Coyote Ridge Country Club in Carrollton. I loved Kate’s vibrant choice of colors with the teal and pops of tropical colors in the flowers. All of her details were so colorful and fun. Here are some of the sweet things I remembered from their wedding: 1) It was my first time to meet Jon and it was so very exciting to see his joy in marrying his bride. 2) Watermark is a truly beautiful church and I appreciate all of the wonderful design they invested in their building to make it beautiful. 3) Kate & Jon were in their own world throughout the reception and I loved that they just enjoyed each other while all of their guests danced the night away. 4) They had the best chocolate wedding cake I’ve ever had. It was amazing! 5) One of my past brides (Ashley) was a bridesmaid in this wedding – so it was wonderful to celebrate with her and to see her family again. 6) I got to work with videographer Steve Allen of Sonrise Video Productions again – He’s such a nice guy and does an amazing job capturing the life of a wedding day through his videos.
