Melody & Stephen: Engagement Portraits in Dallas

pintopinterestMeet Melody & Stephen. Melody and I worked together at a ministry at Oklahoma Baptist University called Mission Center. Melody saw Maggie & Mark’s Day After Session (who was also a part of Mission Center) and loved them. So Melody e-mailed me once she was engaged. Melody & Stephen are getting married in November in Grapevine. I <3 their story because they knew each other for many years through mutual friends. They would always see each other but would be in relationships, well recently they were both single but just 6 weeks after dating, Stephen proposed! Since they’d known each other for so long, it was just a natural connection. I’m so excited to celebrate their wedding day with them in November. Enjoy their engagement portraits from White Rock Lake, Downtown Dallas in Deep Ellum and the Cotton Bowl.:)

  • Lovely photos, Allison! :)

I love the one on the dock – great photos and the first one I’ve seen at the Cotton Bowl.

It was such a fun wedding—I love small church weddings.I also love afternoon weddings because they typically allow me the most time with the bride and groom because we can take portraits after their exit. The church had amazing grounds for portraits so we stayed there for the bride and groom portraits (which you’ll see in part 2). Melody did a beautiful job bringing in so much color for a fall wedding with her orange, red and yellow flowers. I hope you enjoy these wedding portraits and ceremony pictures; the reception and bride and groom portraits will be in part 2.  Posted in Wedding […]
