Raquel & Patrick: Maternity Portraits at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum

Meet Raquel and Patrick! Raquel was my super-great-awesome boss at Prestonwood Baptist Church where I worked as a graphic designer for 3 1/2 years. So we’ve known each other for a while. She is such a wonderful person and so fun to talk with—I miss those mini chats throughout the day. With their first child on the way, I convinced her to do maternity portraits. Raquel did not want the typical hands on the belly photos, so we brainstormed a bit of a different concept for their session. They’re expecting a baby boy to be named Jackson and they decided to decorate his room with vintage airplanes, so Raquel and Patrick wanted to photograph their session at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison. It was such a fun place for portraits (minus the heat inside the hangers – LOL). So enjoy these rare maternity portraits on my blog. I had to post them since she’s humored me by checking out my blog every time I sent her a link and she’s watched me grow as a photographer over the years.
