Holly + Kent: Downtown Fort Worth & Botanical Gardens Engagement Portraits

Meet Holly & Kent! They’re recently engaged and they’re planning a winter wedding. So in December they wanted to take some of their engagement portraits with some festive holiday backdrops. There was a cute area in downtown Fort Worth that we stopped at first.:)Holly was a bridesmaid in Sarah & Garrett’s Wedding and now I’m super excited to be their wedding photographer.  hk_2pintopinteresthk_3pintopinteresthk_1pintopinteresthk_4pintopinteresthk_7pintopinterestOur next stop was at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. • […] Holly & Kent were married Friday evening at the University Christian Church and had their reception at the Fort Worth Club. We photographed her bridal portraits at the Fort Worth club and at a private residence. Holly is such a sweet girl and it was such a joy to photograph her wedding to Kent. They have been together for 11 years! And knowing that just made my heart so happy! They are honeymooning in France & Italy, which is exactly what my husband and I did 5 years ago this month. So enjoy these portraits and look forward to their amazing winter wonderful wedding photographs. Posted in Bridal Portraits […]

  • […] Holly & Kent chose to do a First Look for their December wedding day. This was so perfect because we actually had natural light to photograph their couple portraits and were able to do 90% of their portraits before the wedding. But honestly, the emotions captured from a First Look are also one of the best reasons to chose one. Holly wanted Kent to see her as she walked down a path outside of University Christian Church. I love that once she was there he just grabbed her and hugged and kissed her so sweetly. They chose to have their bridal party line the path that she walked so everyone was clapping and sharing in the joy of their moment. Posted in Moment Monday […]

  • […] Holly and Kent were married Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at The University Christian Church in Fort Worth and held their Winter Wonderful Wedding Reception at The Fort Worth Club in downtown Fort Worth. It was one of the most fabulous weddings I have ever photographed. Holly and her family paid so much attention to detail in planning and their planning made for a beautiful and fun celebration. Holly and Kent have been together for what seems like forever. They started dating over 10 years ago back in their school days. Their wedding day was truly a celebration of their love and a beautiful thing for their friends and family to witness after seeing them together throughout all of these years. Holly and her girls got ready at Kent’s house because it was like her second home. […]
