100th Blog Post!: Inspiring Session Contest

*****UPDATE: ******
Sadly enough, I didn’t have enough contest entries to announce a winner. I appreciate those who did enter and I’m very thankful for your submissions. So I have decided to postpone the giveaway until sometime in the spring. I will announce a similar contest and let all of the previous contestants know about the contest via e-mail. Thanks so much!

******Below was my entry about the contest. So keep this in mind for the next contest attempt*********

I can hardly believe it, but this is my official 100th blog post! I would love to thank everyone who follows my blog and making it feel as though these photos aren’t disappearing into the void. I hope you enjoy the people and the special moments that I showcase on this blog. I have loved every moment of this adventure as a wedding and portrait photographer and I can’t wait to keep going with it.

In order to keep things fresh, I’m having a contest to give a free portrait session (a $350 value, complete with medium resolution digital files and a 16×20 print) to the person/couple/family who submits the most inspiring session idea to me. Here are the rules of the contest:
1. E-mail me at ad@adavisphotos.com with your creative/romantic/fabulous photo session idea.
2. Become a fan of Allison Davis Photography on Facebook and make your status update read: “I wanna be a rockstar on Allison Davis’s Photography Blog: check her out at http://www.adavisphotos.com/blog for an opportunity to win a free portrait session.”
3. You must be able to do the session within 60 miles of Plano, TX or pay for travel expenses for me to get wherever you want to do this session.

I will accept submissions until Oct. 31 at midnight and will announce the winner on  Nov. 1. If you want to submit a photo of the location you have in mind, an outfit you’d wear, a prop you’d like to use, then that would be awesome too. I need to receive at least 35 entries for this contest, so spread the word to your friends, family members and co-workers—I can’t wait to see what you guys can come up with.

***P.S. to see the new stuff, keep scrolling down. I posted this to stay at the top of my blog and it will remain here until Oct. 31. 🙂
