Pamela + Steve: Wedding

This photo says is all!
ps_9Pamela and Steve were set to be married at a fabulous little afternoon wedding at Winfrey Point in Dallas off of White Rock Lake. Just one day before her wedding Dallas City personnel called and told her that there was no electricity at Winfrey Point and that they would have to move their wedding venue — one day before!!! So some sweet people with the city of Dallas helped her find another location. They took her to historical buildings, gardens and The Cotton Bowl! They picked The Cotton Bowl for their venue because Pamela still wanted the ceremony to be outside and Steve loves football and had been to a couple Red River Rivalry games there. So Pamela called me at 5 p.m. the night before to tell me about her crazy-stressful day, but we were just all so excited that she was able to have her outdoor wedding and that it was going to be the first wedding ever at The Cotton Bowl. Crazy story! But one they’ll never forget. So on to the wedding pics: below, the guys and girls got to get ready in the locker rooms. So fun!

ps_8First Dance. Awww!
ps_11My second favorite from the day. I just love how close they’re dancing.
ps_12This photo just gives you an idea about what their reception looked like over all. Lots of fabulous light, and the breezeway allowed lots of wind to keep things cool.
ps_18They also had access to the media room for their food and cake. I love the look on the ring bearer’s face. I feel like they wanted to dare each other to eat some icing. ps_19I totally love this one because Pamela’s dad is giving his toast and I feel like, if he wasn’t in a tux, he’d look like a coach giving a pep talk before the big game.ps_21ps_blog20Pamela and Steve: I was so excited to be part of your big celebration. I’m sorry things didn’t end up as planned, but I think everything was just fabulous! You got married with all of your best friends and family present and you have a crazy-awesome story to share for all of your lives. 🙂
