Stephanie & Caleb: Engagement Portraits

Meet Stephanie & Caleb! After we began visiting about her engagement session, Stephanie realized she remembered me from our youth group days it turns out that I was a senior when she was a freshman, and we gone on the same choir tour trip to L.A. (mind you there were like 400 students on this trip, so my memory was a little fuzzy). Anyways, she’s a total sweetheart and it was great to meet her again. She will be graduating from Texas A&M in December and her fiancé, Caleb, is working on his masters at A&M and is on his way to an internship in D.C. for the summer. They’re getting married in January. With Caleb’s summer plans, we had a brief window for our session and though the rain forced us to reschedule, I don’t think we could have picked a nicer day.

This session was my first trip to the SMU campus and to Turtle Creek Park, both are very fine locations for photo sessions!:)Loved it!!! So enjoy these super-cute photos of a couple in love,

  • I really wanted to post a serious comment and the reverse dip kiss completely threw me off and I have to quit laughing and collect my thoughts before I come back to the serious “how awesome this set is” comment :) STILL LAUGHING!!!!!

  • […] Stephanie & Caleb were married January 9 at Prestonwood Baptist Church. We had quite an adventure on her bridal portrait session at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. I’ve photographed so many portrait sessions at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, but I believe that Stephanie’s wedding dress had a special appeal to the many insects that call the fields home. I know I should totally not be sharing this, but it was insane how the bugs loved Steph’s dress! She was AMAZING in the way she just kept working it! Her mom probably thought I was insane for suggesting this wilderness location for her daughter’s bridals, but I still love the photos and the shoot was an experience I won’t forget. […]
