Jenn: Bridal Portraits

Taaa Daaa! Jenn’s Bridals! You might remember Jenn from her engagement session at the vineyard. Well she let me post these before her June 6 wedding and so I thought I’d post them on her birthday! Happy Birthday Jenn! I hope you have a super-sweet birthday and that you enjoy these fabulous photos of you.

We actually started out at my parents ranch house in Celina and then went to some hot spots in Prosper. A perfect setting for a country girl like Jenn.

I had a great deal of difficulty in choosing my favorites. I first narrow down the files for my client, then I do a basic edit on all of those… narrowed those down to about 400. Then I narrowed it down to more faves… down to about 70… still needed to narrow it down to the few that I would edit super-special for the blog. So here’s the result. It’s a mix of lots of different light, backgrounds, moods… but I love them all. It was a very inspiring session! I loved the vision Jenn and I shared and I was able to find just the right spots (with permission and everything!). So enjoy! I’d love some comments if you have some fun feedback.:)

Absolutely beautiful! The locations are amazing. I can’t decided between the color or black & white. They are all very stunning.

  • These are gorgeous! I love her just chillin’ in a chair in a wheatfield! :) Now I just want to know: how much money do I have to save to convince you to come up to Oklahoma for Micaiah’s first year portraits? 😉

    These are absolutely beautiful Allison!

  • I think I have scrolled up and down these pictures 10 times now. Have you seen an increase in your stats because it was most definitely me. :) My favorite is the one of her in front of the horse sculpture. The sun and the pose make it so beautiful!

  • […] Jenn and Daniel were married June 6 at Lone Oak Winery in Burleson. Jenn is from California and so they wanted to be married a winery here in Texas to make it feel a little bit more like home. And Daniel is a country boy who grew up in North Texas, so the winery was the perfect location. They met going to school together at Texas A&M through friends and just hit it off. They weathered the times of long distance relationships and were able to settle down in Fort Worth, where they now share their home. Jenn was such an amazing bride to work with. She wasn’t shy about sharing her vision for her photography so I think we were able to collaborate to capture their treasured moments in a really awesome way. So here goes nothing… Enjoy part one because I sure couldn’t put them all in one post. :) There were so many fabulous details because Jenn added her personal touch to just about everything in her wedding. She did an amazing job with every little thing. She even had a fabulous wedding blog where she gave her tips and tricks about all of her DIY projects. The girls all got ready in this cute little room just steps away from the ceremony site. It was definitely a hot summer day, but we had that AC cranked up. My favorite mirror image. I love Jenn’s eyes—so bright! This is just after she finished placing her veil and you can just see how excited she is to marry Daniel! I love it!Daniel did tear up a bit when he saw Jenn walking down with her parents. It’s almost like they paused and stared into each other eyes before their first kiss as husband and wife. Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Anderson! I love it because they’re just so happy!!Daniel thanks everyone for coming and for supporting them as they celebrate on their wedding day. Daniel and Jenn were just so wonderful about visiting with all of their guests throughout the night. First Dance. I love the warm glow of lights under the barn. It was just really sweet. Toast time!Jenn’s bridesmaids were just so wonderful! They partied with her all night. Here they were singing along to “Pour Some Sugar On Me” — Gotta love being a child of the 80s. They also had an Aggie Ring Ceremony where all of the Aggie’s in attendance laid their rings at Jenn’s feet. And the sweet Bouquet action—I love it when the DJ’s lights illuminate the bouquet.  Here’s just one sneak peek at Part 2 — Portraits.Obviously there are just so many more photos to share, but you all would be scrolling for days to see them all. So if you’re friends or family of Jenn and Daniel you can visit their online gallery to see more.
