Regan & Adam: Engagement Portraits

Between the session itself and the time of editing and creating this post I have become attached to these images. I feel like I was really able to capture the emotions of love between Regan and Adam in a way that I believe it reflects my beliefs on romantic love. Through the photos below you’ll see the absolute joy of love, the excitement of having someone by your side, the security of belonging in someone’s arms, the great connection between passionate kisses, and the fun of having someone to humor you and go along with whatever silly thing you’re wanting to do. I feel like Regan and Adam have these great connections. And while they are both just strong, secure and fabulous individuals, there’s just something better about being together. 🙂

Regan and Adam were such a joy to hang out with and they endured a chilly morning for some fantastic light and empty streets. They also accompanied me to a new location, so keep scrolling to see the new spot. They also treated me to a fantastic lunch at Babe’s Chicken – so yummy! and it so sweet for Regan to share some pie with me. Thanks for an awesome session! I can’t wait to hear about your wedding in Las Vegas. Totally wish I could be there, but thanks for allowing me to share in this part of your love story.

We began at the Shops at Legacy. Love, love, love the light!!

ra_blog1ra_blog2ra_blog3Love me some dramatic sun flare! The spot was just perfect for it. ra_blog4ra_blog5ra_blog6ra_blog7ra_blog8ra_blog9ra_blog10ra_blog31ra_blog11This photo makes me think of how one day, Regan’s ring will become “grandma’s ring” and just how special and symbolic engagement and wedding rings are. ra_blog12ra_blog13ra_blog14My favorite photo of the day! It was totally hard to decide, but I just coming back to this one and knowing how great that feeling of a strong hug is. (**I love my hubby**) And I can tell that Regan loves her hubby-to-be. 🙂ra_blog15ra_blog16ra_blog17ra_blog18ra_blog19ra_blog20Here’s the new spot — Downtown Carrollton. My friend Abby shoots there all the time, so I had to go check it out. It was super cute little place. P.S. It wouldn’t be an “Allison Davis Photography engagement session” without a dip-kiss photo (just ask any of my clients… hehehe).

ra_blog30Thanks again for a fantastic session and trusting me to do the best with your engagement session. It was a blessing to meet you guys! Best wishes on a happy marriage all the days of your lives!
