Rachael + Casey: Engagement Portraits

Meet Rachael and Casey! They’re a super cute couple and Rachael’s mom hired me for their wedding last summer, but we just finally got to do their engagement portraits! It couldn’t have been a more beautiful day. We were going to do some portraits at Winfrey point, but the road to get there was blocked off, so on the fly I found this other nearby park. This is how beautiful the light is for a morning shoot for all of those who are wondering why I offer a session that starts at daybreak. 🙂

We had a wonderful time visiting and making each other laugh. So thanks guys for a great session. Can’t wait for your wedding in May!

So after our fun at the park we joined hundreds of others at the Arboretum. It was no small task to get these photos without tons of people in the background. It was the first day of spring and the flowers were beautiful, but WOW it was crowded. But I loved the photos we got from here — I mean look at those colorful tulips in the background! It’s so beautiful and colorful.
