Kim + Kris: Wedding Day

Oh my goodness! What a fabulous wedding! I know I’ve given you the sneak peeks and so now, here is the full-blown wedding day post.:)

kk_wedding_11pintopinterestI got to hang with the girls while they got ready at Kim’s apartment.
They just finished painting their nails and they were trying to dry them quickly. I love girly moments like this. kk_wedding_19pintopinterestkk_wedding_17pintopinterestkk_wedding_20pintopinterestkk_wedding_22pintopinterest

Kim gave all of her bridesmaids aprons and had their names embroidered on them. kk_wedding_36pintopinterestkk_wedding_23pintopinterestkk_wedding_21pintopinterestkk_wedding_26pintopinterestkk_wedding_27pintopinterestkk_wedding_1pintopinterestkk_wedding_2pintopinterestkk_wedding_3pintopinterestkk_wedding_39pintopinterestI couldn’t decide between the next two because they’re just so happy in both of them!

for the celebration and it’s just so special to get to see everyone all together.
kk_wedding_33pintopinterestkk_wedding_34pintopinterestDefinitely one of my favorite photos of the day!

Kim and Kris had tons of super-cute details throughout their wedding. But I just loved the vibrant colors used throughout!
kk_wedding_35pintopinterestGuests used these little poppers as the couple exited the ceremony.kk_wedding_9pintopinterestkk_wedding_7pintopinterestkk_wedding_8pintopinterestThey served a breakfast buffet for dinner, complete with waffle bar and omelet station, served mimosas and bloody mary’s.
It was such a cute idea and it looked totally tasty.
kk_wedding_10pintopinterestkk_wedding_13pintopinterestFrom what I hear, Kris is a huge photo fan and throughout their relationship he tried to chronicle their times together.
They hung photos all around the enclosed porch area.
kk_wedding_12pintopinterestkk_wedding_14pintopinterestThe bridal party was introduced and I just love to see people having a good time together!
kk_wedding_28pintopinterestkk_wedding_29pintopinterestFor their first song, Kim and Kris danced to Matt Wertz “I Will Not Take My Love Away.”
I love Matt Wertz and I had been listening to his CD earlier that morning, so I thought that was kind of fun.
kk_wedding_37pintopinterestkk_wedding_30pintopinterestkk_wedding_31pintopinterestThank you Kim and Kris for the opportunity to be a part of your wedding celebration!
I hope you have an incredible marriage — full of love and happiness!

  • Allison- I feel like I was there. Seriously. Amazing work. I especially enjoy the one of the two flower girls running around. I love those wedding day shenanigans. So sweet.

  • […] Kim & Kris were wed a year and a half ago at White Rock Lake’s Winfrey Point. Kim invited me to photograph her and her bridesmaids getting ready at her apartment before the wedding. Some of the best and most candid moments are captured when everyone’s running around getting ready before the wedding. Kim was an amazing bride who, despite feeling ill on her wedding day, cared for all of her bridesmaids and her sweet flowergirls. She gave them all their bridesmaid gifts (which were embroidered Anthropologie Aprons). She helped all of her girls get ready before she got into her wedding dress. But I love this image of Kim showing one of her flowergirls how awesome her hair looked after the stylist finished. I love Kim’s look of joy and the flowergirls’ look of approval. Posted in Moment Monday […]
